Donna Moses Christian Preschool is an Early Childhood Development Centre (ECD) registered with the South African Department of Basic Education. Established in loving memory of the late Donna Moses, the preschool was founded to honour her compassion for children and her deep commitment to Christian education.
The Centre provides a warm, nurturing, faith-based learning environment for children aged 3 to 6 years who reside at the Jehovah Jireh Child and Youth Care Centre. These young learners have often faced hardship early in life, and the preschool exists to give them the strong educational and emotional foundation they deserve.
The preschool will officially open its doors on 5 January, marking a significant milestone for the children, the staff, and the entire Jehovah Jireh community.
Our Purpose & Mission
Donna Moses Christian Preschool exists to give vulnerable children a joyful, structured, and spiritually grounded start to life. Our mission is to:
Build strong early literacy and numeracy skills
Encourage emotional and social development
Instil Christian values of kindness, respect, and love
Prepare children academically and spiritually for formal schooling
Create a safe, caring space where each child is known and valued
Every lesson, activity, and interaction is designed to promote whole-child development in an environment of love, stability, and Christian encouragement.
Where We Are Based
The preschool is housed on the premises of Jehovah Jireh Christian Private School in Jwala Boholo, Witsieshoek. This location allows the children seamless progression into primary education and offers shared resources, safety, and a familiar campus environment.
The partnership ensures continuity of learning and creates a unified, Christian-centred educational pathway for the children of Jehovah Jireh.

Funding & Sustainability Needs
Like the Child and Youth Care Centre, the preschool receives no government operational funding. It relies entirely on the generosity of private donors, churches, community partners, and friends of the ministry.
As we prepare to open on 5 January, we urgently need support in the following areas:
1. Toys & Learning Materials
To create stimulating early learning spaces, we need:
Age-appropriate toys
Puzzles and educational games
Posters and charts
Storybooks and Bible story materials
Art supplies (crayons, paint, paper, etc.)
2. Classroom Equipment
Tables and chairs for young learners
Storage shelves
Mats and carpets
Outdoor play equipment
3. Operating Costs
Support is needed to cover:
Staff stipends
Utilities
Classroom consumables
Cleaning and hygiene supplies
4. Security Fence (Urgent Priority)
One of our most critical needs is to erect a security fence around the preschool area.
This fence is essential to:
Ensure the safety of young children
Create controlled access and secure play areas
Meet early childhood safety standards
Protect equipment and premises
The fence is a priority requirement before full-scale operations can safely continue.
